Message engine. From what I've read, when you just constantly flow water through it doesn't absorb the heat from the engine, it just kinda passes right through, so it's cooling effects on the engine are pretty poor & the water temp stays lower because it's not taking on as much heat.

So the coolant temp will read low and the engine temp will read high. I think.
